Water Rate Adjustment - Effective June 18, 2026

The City of Dearborn will implement a water rate adjustment effective June 17 due to an increase in rates from our wholesale provider, KC Water.
New Residential/Commercial Water Rates:
- $49.55 for the first 1,000 gallons
- $9.70 per 1,000 gallons thereafter
- $0.97 per 100 gallons
Rural Water Customers:
- $57.70 for the first 1,000 gallons
- $9.70 per 1,000 gallons thereafter
- $0.97 per 100 gallons
Sewer rates are not affected by this change.
For comparison, the previous residential/commercial minimum charge was $47.00 for the first 1,000 gallons.
